What is euhealth 

Euhealth is a non-profit, independent and non-partisan academic undertaking; it aims to contribute to mutual understanding, communication, and information concerning the European Union, health and health policies, and other related issues. 

Objectives of euhealth 

As the first and only web site in Turkey devoted to "EU, health and health policies", euhealth aims to share with you rapidly the most accurate and reliable information regarding these topics along with other related subjects on the basis of knowledge guided by ethical policy and scientific methods.

HEALTH TOURISM essays

Health tourism and Turkey

The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing sectors as a result of dynamics such as the globalisation process, problems which are being experienced in the country's health care systems (for example, long waiting lists, increasing costs, and quality problems), increasing trend of consumerism, and European Union.

Health tourism, generally speaking, is a concept including both treatment and holiday components. In terms of having been these two dimensions, Turkey has a unique position. However, it can not be stated that Turkey has succesfully used its incomparable position so far.
